Installing the controller’s drivers and utilities allows the system to properly recognize the connected device (either wired or wireless products), as well as to use all of the unit’s features, such as force feedback, custom vibrations, and others. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified. If it has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. When I ‘cleared’ the Profile or ‘switched’ the profile off - the throttles, Joystick and buttons etc that I had setup in FS2020 then started working as I had programmed them to do - with the 320neo and the 152, CJ4, Icon A5, etc. When I started FS2020 afterwards - it obviously had a conflict. I had fogotten to ‘switch it off’ or ‘Clear’ the profile when I finished with FSX. There were issues with the throttle not working at all in a number of aircraft in FS2020 - but i traced this down to the fact that I had been using FSX beforehand and had ‘invoked’ the X52 HOTAS profile program to make the X52 work with the Aerosoft Airbus in FSX. And it doesn’t happen all the time as I have just proved. I can only remember it affecting the A320neo. Going to try it again but I’ll watch out for things to see if there are any other anomalies. The latest issue was at Gatwick (EGKK Ultra). I’ve had the issue a number of times before but I don’t remember which airports. EGLL is the default one in FS2020 and EGCC is a new one from Maaco Simulations. I’ve just completed a flight from EGLL to EGCC yesterday and no problems. I can’t see the logic in the scenery affecting the throttles.
